Walk, Run, Theater Fun - Wilkesboro, North Carolina - Running

The Walk, Run, Theater Fun is a Running race in Wilkesboro, North Carolina consisting of a 5K.

Hosted by the Wilkes County High School Theater Department, this 5k will be full of fun! Participants of all ages and skills can run or walk at their own pace while meeting their favorite characters along the way. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers as well as refreshments for all. Everyone is welcome to bring and wear their own costume to join in on the fun! It will begin and end at Wilkes Community College, making a loop on the Yadkin River Greenway. Check in will begin at 7:00 am and the race will begin at 8:00 am. Parking will be provided for participants near the Watson Stage at Wilkes Community College.

The price for the race is $20 or $10 for Wilkes County Schools students. All proceeds from the race will benefit the Wilkes County High School Theater Department. The theater department is a combination of students from all five high schools. They work hard all year long to be able to perform four plays for the community.
