About The Back to School 5K Splash Dash

The Back to School 5K Splash Dash is a Running race in Gastonia, North Carolina consisting of a 5K.

All proceeds will go to purchasing supplies for the 1,200 book bags that are packed for the Annual 'Back to School Bash' at Woodhill Elementary in Gastonia, NC.
Children attending the 'Back to School Bash' will receive free kindergarten and sports physical, complete preventative health screens, and receive appointments for free, vital vaccinations. Once all essential screenings are completed, the children receive a book bag filled with school supplies to begin the school year successfully.

Course description: (NEW) Trail run through Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden's Persimmon Trail and the Carolina Thread Trail's Seven Oak Foundation's Trail
