Love Durham Run 5k - Durham, North Carolina - Running

The Love Durham Run 5k is a Running race in Durham, North Carolina consisting of a 5K.

The Durham Civitan Club is partnering with Bull City Running Company to present the inaugural Love Durham Run 5K! The race starts and finishes at Herndon Park, running along the American Tobacco Trail.

Come run/walk (AND SUPPORT) local with us on September 21st!

The Love Durham Run 5k is a special project sponsored by the Durham Civitan Club. We believe that we should give a portion of our time and talents to help others, and in doing so, make Durham a better place to live and work. Whatever the need, Civitans care. And more importantly, our concern moves us to action. The Love Durham Run Walk Roll Ruck 5k will raise awareness of the good works of the 80 year old Durham Civitan Club, our commitment to our community, our public servants, our children with special needs, and those who need a hand up.

Why Participate? The proceeds from this family friendly 5k will support the Durham Civitan Club in its mission to be builders of good citizenship. We give extensively to Special Olympics, Boys & Girls Home of NC, Backpack Buddies of Durham, G.R.E.A.T. of Durham, The Civitan International Research Foundation at the University of Alabama Birmingham; just to name a few.
