The Festival of Lights at Tanglewood Park has been a significant part of many holiday traditions. People come from all over to the Festival of Lights to see the beautiful scenery and enjoy the exciting new light shows offered each year. To celebrate the beginning of the season, Hillsdale Church hosts an annual 5K where racers get the opportunity to run under the beautiful lights in the park. November 10, 2018 is the first opportunity to see the lights for the season. It is a great chance to get an up-close look at the amazing work that goes into the Festival of Lights each year.

The Miles for Meals 5K (Formerly the SOUPER 5K) is a major fundraiser for Hillsdale Church's Food Ministry. The Food Ministry serves around 22,000 bowls of soup and delivers thousands of bags of groceries each year to families and individuals in Davie and Forsyth Counties that are food insecure. The Food Ministry is completely coordinated, supported, and delivered by volunteers. It operates 5 Days a week in various locations. The Food Ministry is fully funded by the proceeds from the annual 5K. It is growing to meet the needs of the community and we need your help!
ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE 5K WILL SUPPORT THE FOOD MINISTRY DIRECTLY.

Not a runner? Not a problem. In addition to the 5K, there will be a major family fun event with music, a fun run, food, games, and fellowship. The event is open to anyone that wishes to support the Food Ministry. Admission to the park is free with any donation being greatly appreciated.
