About The Hope Runs For Recovery - Charlotte
The Hope Runs For Recovery - Charlotte is a Running race in Charlotte, North Carolina consisting of a 5K.
Bring your family and friends to join in this celebration of Recovery and Hope. We hear much in our society about daily losses from addiction and mental health issues. The Hope Runs for Recovery event brings light to the truth that recovery from these issues is possible and happens on a large scale every day! Our 5k Walk/Run will be held on the beautiful Irwin Creek Greenway. The entry at Clanton Park will be the setting for an after-party celebration with a live band, food, and give-aways by recovery supporters and providers in our community.
Proceeds will benefit the Herren Project, and the Emerald School of Excellence.
HerrenKeep Reading Project is a non-profit founded by former NBA player Chris Herren, and provides individual and family support, treatment and recovery navigation, and prevention and outreach services utilizing networked resources across the country.
