Girls on the Run of Western North Carolina 5K - Asheville, North Carolina - Running

The Girls on the Run of Western North Carolina 5K is a Running race in Asheville, North Carolina consisting of a 5K.

The Girls on the Run 5k is a celebratory, non-competitive event is the culminating experience of the 10-week Girls on the Run (3rd-5th) and Heart & Sole (6th-8th) programs. Completing the 5k gives program participants a tangible understanding of the confidence that comes through accomplishment as well as a framework for setting and achieving life goals. When our participants cross the finish line, they realize they can do anything they set their minds to!

Community members are welcome to join us as 5k participants or event volunteers to help encourage and celebrate our girls. The GOTR 5k is a family-friendly, non-timed event that offers a pre-run dance party and sponsor booths to visit.
