Stepping It Up For Veterans is an untimed 5K run/walk that will leave from VFW Post 2908 located at 119 Anderson Rd, Albemarle and meander through the beautiful tree lined streets of the Anderson Heights neighborhood before returning back to the Post Home. Funds generated from this event will go to support veterans programs that focus on the prevention of suicide by veterans and active duty military. Statistics show that we lose 22 veterans/active duty military daily to suicide. We must take action!
