If you are tired of the hype with high prices so you get bands and beer and just want to run a challenging half marathon put on by runners, for runners, this is the race to sign up for. It is a reasonable $35 with good aid stations and post race

Despite the 5K and 10K races with a low turnout, I'd say the price of registration to enter the race was pretty reasonable. That's especially a bang for my buck for a 5K that does not have a huge crowd.

I am unsure about the course similarity to the Casino Bridge Run,

"I ran the Philly Rock & Roll 1/2 in 2013. I registered in 2014 but plantar fascisiitis kept me from running last year but I still went down to cheer on my friends and party with them. This is def. one of my favorite 1/2 marathons. A quick weekend
