The Mid-Hudson ACS 5K is a Running race in Beacon, New York consisting of a 1 Mile and 5K.
The Mid-Hudson American Chemical Society (ACS) Scholarship Run is the
first of its kind, raising money to support ACS scholarships in chemistry-
related fields for deserving student-athletes. Starting at the Beacon Long
Dock Park along the Scenic Hudson River on well-groomed trails, this 5K
race offers beautiful foliage, panoramic views of the Hudson River, and
perhaps you'll even catch a glimpse of some nesting eagles! This event
offers a timed 5K with a water stop, age group awards, and a one-mile fun
run for those who choose a more relaxed version of the exercise.
