Sea Girt 5K - Sea Girt, New Jersey - Running

The Sea Girt 5K is a Running race in Sea Girt, New Jersey consisting of a 5K and Kids Run/Fun Run.

The event features a 5k Run/Walk, short Kids Races and plenty of great Kids Activities. The Sea Girt 5K is an annual Summer tradition at the Jersey Shore with outstanding community support and a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. From the competitive runner to the casual first-time participant, we welcome all to enjoy a great race through scenic Sea Girt, NJ. The Sea Girt 5K run/walk starts at 8:30am and features live music along the race course, chip timing, custom designed race t-shirt and an after party at Fratello's Restaurant and Bar right across the finish line. Kids Activities go from 8:30 to 11:00am and include a giant inflatable obstacle course, bounce house, pony rides, face painting, rock-climbing wall and more. Kids races start at 10:00am and range from 25 to 400 meters for various age groups.

Every year the Sea Girt 5K supports Sea Girt Recreation programs and facilities. This year we will also support the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, dedicated to finding a cure for spinal cord injuries and improving quality of life for those recovering. www.christopherreeve.org
