The Woods and Lakes Run is a Running race in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey consisting of a 10K and 5K.
Two races for Men and Women 30 and over. Traditional 10K Run and simultaneous 5K Run. Start & Finish at Birchwood Lake, Mountain Lakes, New Jersey.
COURSE is a scenic, mostly flat loop through woods and around lakes. Running surfaces will include
macadam walk-ways, gravel paths and scenic wooded trails. There may be mud, logs, and other challenging
obstacles.
This is the 9th time I've run this race and it's always a challenge but distracting enough that I'm not getting bored. Beginning and end of this race is on a Sandy Beach which is a challenge but they always have unique prizes like frosted pint glasses for the top three More...
