Peace For Police - Marlton, New Jersey - Running

The Peace For Police is a Running race in Marlton, New Jersey consisting of a 5K and 1 Mile.

Come out & Support the Police- Join us for a scenic 5k Trail Run through the beautiful Timber Creek Park. This is a unique course with great scenery and different than your everyday road race. This is a wonderful family event as there will also be a 1 mile Fun Run/walk. Pre registration will start at 7:30am and the 5k and 1 mile will both begin promptly at 9am We hope that this race will hope spread a good message and promote peace within our community. There will be a DJ, refreshments, awards ceremony, & after party following the event! Come support those who put their life on the line to support you!

This year, all proceeds will be going to Camden Police Officer, Tony Forney and his family. The men and women in law enforcement put their lives on the line everyday that they come to work. They face incredible challenges on a daily basis and are committed to making our community a better place. The Forney family is now facing their own fight for survival. Officer Tony Forney, his wife & three children are local residents who are going through a struggle of epic proportions brought on by significant illness. Tony's wife, Ronni has been fighting a variety of medical conditions which has created financial and emotional despair for his household. Peace for Police would like to help support this officer and his young children get through this tough time.
