This event benefits NORWESCAP's Career and Life Transitions Center and is part of the New Jersey Grand Prix Series (USATF Sanction #18-07-289) . We are "transitioning" our race's name from "Transitions 5K" (named for the NORWESCAP program it benefits) to the "Leaf Lady 5K" (named for the nickname given to our race logo by local runners).

NORWESCAP's mission is to improve the lives of low income individuals and families in need in Northwest New Jersey primarily by offering, referring or collaborating with others to provide programs and education which help foster self-sufficiency.
