Marine Corps Run for Freedom 5k - Freehold, New Jersey - Running

The Marine Corps Run for Freedom 5k is a Running race in Freehold, New Jersey consisting of a 5K.

Join us May 18th in Freehold, New Jersey as we honor our Marines in what is destined to be one of the regionas most significant events of the year.

The event is a 5K Run/Walk that starts and ends at the iPlay America Complex . All runners will receive a custom Marine Raiders run shirt. There will be an after race celebration at iPlay America following the race where runners can share in the Comradery of the Marine Corps. Whether youare a hard core runner or just someone whoas patriotic and looking for a good cause to support, this is the event for you.

/> Proceeds from this event will benefit three separate Marine Corps organizations. The Marine Raider Foundation supports those Marines who served in special operations missions and have been injured in defense of our country. The Semper Fi Fund provides support to all veterans, not just Marines, who are in need of prosthetics, transitional training in new job fields, and other methods of support to help them adapt to life after military service. The Corporal Philip A. Reynolds Detachment of the Marine Corps League has provided assistance to all veterans throughout New Jersey since it was formed in 1976. For years, they have assisted veterans financially, provided transportation to and from medical appointments, assisted veterans in getting approved in much needed claims with Veterans Affairs, and any other way they could support veterans causes.
