Toughman Championship Race - New York

"Challenging but awesome race.

- Packet - more goodies than most races.
- Swim - Even though it's far north it's still the Hudson. In 2013 we believe the course was short.
- Bike - Challenging hills but great course. Enough aid stations.
- Run - Challenging hills again but amazing crowd support. BEAUTIFUL

This was a destination race for me. I had recently spent a long weekend in San Diego. While planning my trip I was looking for a race to run in the San Diego area. Luckily I found this race on Racethread.com. Kudo's to Race Thread.

"Rotary Club does a nice job. Basically flat, with a couple inclines that re good for the legs, excellent traffic control. Real good atmosphere.
Sufficient bathrooms, although an extra one wouldn't hurt.
Good parking.
Suggest they consider asking local vendors for raffle donations."
