Clinton Township Country Run - Clinton Township, New Jersey - Running

The Clinton Township Country Run is a Running race in Clinton Township, New Jersey consisting of a 1 Mile and 15K and 5K.

Come join the Clinton Township Country Run! We have been honored by NJ USA Track and Field organization to be awarded the Championship race for the 15K race. This event is sanctioned by USA Track & Field. The Country Run is supported by a 100 person volunteer staff to help uphold the honor and responsibility of the Championship title.

All entrants receive a pre-shrunk, 100% cotton long sleeve t-shirt. This year we are expanding the selection of shirts to include women's styles in Small, Medium and Large in addition to the standard Youth and Adult sizes. All races start and finish in Bundt Park just off Route 31 in Clinton Township and include energizing warm-up music and food.

The 1 mile race is within the Park boundaries and very flat. This is a great race for family members of every age as all those who cross the finish line receive a medal.

Several hundred runners participate in the Clinton Township Country Run 5K which is part of the USATF Grand Prix Challenge earning 500 points. It is sanctioned by USA Track & Field. The 5K course leaves Bundt Park and loops through local neighborhoods with nice rolling hills. It includes one water stop at the halfway mark. The fastest runners of the 5K will receive trophies and all runners 14 and under will receive participation medals.

The USATF NJ Championship 15K race has upwards of 500 participants. It is scenic with a few rolling hills. The course follows local roads and a wooded trail to the town of Clinton and back and receives support from local police departments. New this year is the addition of Rest Room facilities mid-way on the course along with five water stops. Top winners of the 15K will receive cash prizes or trophies. All runners of the15K who are 14 and under will receive participation medals.

All net proceeds will benefit children's programs, event and equipment in Clinton Township.
