Short version: This is literally the most poorly managed race I've ever done. I was pretty annoyed with all the hassles last year, so was on the fence about doing it again. But even though it is only a month away, they don't seem to be doing any better

We had a nice time. There is nothing big and asplashya� about this event. You show up and do your thing. Staff along the run were super friendly and pointed out tripping hazards and flagged traffic. Their cheering us on was appreciated. The long sleeve shirts are nice.

I've run this race for the past 10 years. This event attracts some very elite runners in the Classic 10K. Frank Shorter, 1972 Olympic Gold medalist returns very year from Coloroado for this event. Frank grew up in Middletown. Nice hometown feel here. I run to support Josh's team.
