Las Vegas Women's Half Marathon - Henderson, Florida - Running

The Las Vegas Women's Half Marathon is a Running race in Henderson, Florida consisting of a Half Marathon.

Within the shadows of the Las Vegas Strip, the City of Henderson, NV will host the inaugural Las Vegas Women's Half Marathon and 5K Road Race! This Woman's Half Marathon and 5K, will be the aUltimate Girl's Running Weekenda for you and your girlfriends! Start your running season from one of the greatest destination locations of the World, the Las Vegas Valley!

Each Women's Half Marathon produced by Premier Event Management across the country will offer Breast Feeding Tents for our new mothers at the start/finish area as well as on the half marathon course. Also, if life changes and your an expecting new mother, move your fitness event to the Maturity Mile and continue the fun on this special Women's Day!

Starting Procedure
The Las Vegas Women's Half Marathon & 5K will have a wave start system in place to start the 2020 event. Runners will be seeded into groups according to your estimated finish time. Each group will be staged in a holding corral prior to the start of their group.

Reminder to Runners: The bib tag timing system will not record a starting time for a runner until that runner has crossed the timing mats at the start line. Time spent waiting to cross the start line is NOT included in the scored finish time for a runner.

Aid Stations: The Las Vegas Women's Half Marathon and 5K will have water stations on course at every 2 mile locations along the half marathon route. (Miles 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12) At each station athletes will find water, gatorade and ice but at mile 6 (aid station #3) athletes will have energy gels added to the supplies. Portable restrooms will also be available at each aid station along the route.

AWARDS
The top three overall finishers will receive Gold, Silver and Bronze award medals. The top three in each age group will also be awarded our Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for their placement in their respective age groups. Age Groups are 14 and under and move up from that point in 5 year increments to 80+. (There are no male awards)
