Great Divide Ski Area Trail Race - Marysville, Montana - Running

"Beautiful but tough course"

The Great Divide Ski area is fabulous in the winter and made a great venue for a trail race. For a first time race at this location the course was very well marked and Wolf Pack Adventures put on a great event. They clearly know what they are doing More... and I look forward to participating in other events they put on in the area. The course is tough with 4,000 ft of gain for the 25k which made for a great challenge. The low key atmosphere was great. Lots of folks hung around post-race to partake in the plentiful food and beverages -included spiked lemonade which was a welcome addition after a tough day. Access to the chalet made for a nice change of pace from porta potties and allowed the post-race gathering to continue out of the rain. I can't recommend this event enough and look forward to doing it again next year.
