To be my first marathon it was great. From the expo to the race. Didn't expect it to be this good been to other expos this one was great. I would do this race again. I'm from Chicago. I always volunteer but

As with all Rock n Roll races, the logistics of packet pickup, race start, aid stations, finish corrals are all taken care of and easy for first timers to figure out. Weather was clear and a perfect 45 degrees. Good crowds on course. Only Negative is you MUST pay

I was so excited to be part of this amazing event! It was action packed for all 26.2 miles! The course was great! The city of Chicago was so pretty! I loved seeing the tall skyscrapers on every corner & was also charmed by the quaintness of every neighborhood we ran
