The 1699 Race to Discovery 5K is a Running race in Ocean Springs, Mississippi consisting of a Kids Run/Fun Run and 5K.
The 1699 5k Run/Walk will start at 8:15; the race will begin and end at Fort Maurepas on Front Beach in Ocean Springs. You may register online or beginning at 7:00 on race morning. At 9:00 there will be a free 1 mile kids run, in conjunction with the Mississippi Gulf Coast YMCA and the Biloxi/Ocean Springs Junior Auxiliary's kid's Marathon. Late registrants may have to have t-shirts mailed to them after the race. The race will be just one of many great events put on by the 1699 Historical Society this weekend.
