Scenic Byway River Run - Belle Plaine, Minnesota - Running

The Scenic Byway River Run is a Running race in Belle Plaine, Minnesota consisting of a Half Marathon and 5K and Kids Run/Fun Run.

Join us on October 10th, 2020, for a great day of running, eating, shopping and having fun! This year marks our 10th year of the Scenic Byway Half Marathon, Relay, 5K , Bike Tour de Brew and Kids Fun Run!

Packet Pickup will be the night before the event on Friday, October 9th, 2020. There will also be a Spaghetti Dinner, sponsored by Belle Plaine Cross Country Team. Packet-Pickup and the Spaghetti Dinner will be located at Oakcrest Elementary School, 1101 W Commerce Drive, Belle Plaine, MN 56011.

Half Marthon 2-Person Relay
We will be once again, offering a 2-person relay to our runners. Runners are responsible for their own transportation to and from the half way exchange point. Please note, the 1st runner will be running a bit longer than half of the 13.1 miles, due to safety of the runners and having a safe exchange point. The exchange will take place near Mile Marker 8 and Water Stop 4. Space is limited to 50 teams.

Kids Fun Run
The Kids Fun Run will run BEFORE the Half Marathon and 5K! Bring the whole family for a great fun filled day of activities! Kids Run to start at 8:45AM. All Kids Fun Run participants will receive a kids race day shirt & medal. Runners need to be in 6th grade & younger to participate in the Kids Fun Run. Parents are welcome to run along with the kids.

Timing, Awards and Prizes!
Chip timing will be provided for the 5K and Half Marathon races.

Awards will be for the overall male and female for the 5K & Half Marathon and for the top male and female in 10 year age categories in the 5K & Half Marathon. Top Relay team will also receive an award. Special custom medals to all Half Marathon/Relay participants. All participants will receive a race day shirt.
