Storm the Park 15K - Altura, Minnesota - Running

The Storm the Park 15K is a Running race in Altura, Minnesota consisting of a 5K Trail Run and 10K Trail Run and 30K Trail Run and 50K Trail Run.

Storm Sporting Events aims to promote health and wellness while raising awareness for youth mental health through inclusive events for all ages. Our goal is to raise funds for programs and scholarships dedicated to providing essential services in youth mental healthcare. We encourage people of all skill levels to participate in trail racing events, to get outdoors, and to enjoy the beautiful local trails in Southeast MN. Your donations and a percentage of the profits from this event will go to the Youth Mental Health programs.

NO CUTOFFS FOR ANY OF THESE EVENTS! WE CELEBRATE RUNNERS OF ALL SPEEDS AND WILL BE AT THE FINISH LINE UNTIL THE LAST PERSON CROSSES THE FINISH LINE!!

Course Summary
Come to Southeast Minnesota to "Storm the Park" and enjoy all that the trails at Whitewater State Park have to offer!! This is the first of the four race series, The Storm Trail Race Series. There will be a 15k course that follows and crosses the Whitewater River and offers beautiful views of the river, meadows, and surrounding bluffs. Multiple loops of this amazing course will make up the 30k. The 50k race will follow the same course with an additional 1.6k added to the 15k that will take participants all the way out to Coyote Point. This 16.6k loop will be completed 3 times for the 50k distance. The 5k course will climb you up to Chimney Rock and Inspiration Point and then back down to the Whitewater River.
