Jogging for Jaylee - St. Clair, Michigan - Running

The Jogging for Jaylee is a Running race in St. Clair, Michigan consisting of a 5K.

This 5K race and 2 mile walk will be in honor of Jaylee Helton. Jaylee is a 5th grade Eddy Elementary student in the East China School District, daughter to Adam and Ronli Helton, and the sister to St. Clair Middle School student and Nationals St Clair '06 Girls Soccer Club player, Tayor.



Jaylee has been fighting a kidney disease and has been in and out of hospitals and doctors offices multiple times over the past couple of years. She was diagnosed with Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) and IgA Nephropathy in 2015, greatly affecting her kidney function. She has had multiple treatments over the last 2 1/2 years, and thus far nothing has worked. Jaylee was recently at U of M for kidney failure and has just become healthy enough to start dialysis. The disease has progressed fast. She is currently in search of a kidney donor for a transplant.
