County Press and Western Runners Club team up again to chase away the abominable snowman
Each year the Western Runners Club organizes the Goodbye Yeti event to symbolically chase the abominable snowman back to wherever it hibernates, so summer can begin.
Yeti Day races include a traditional 5k as well as the Michigan Ave Mile, which is run on a long straightaway into downtown Parma, and a shorter race specifically designed for elementary school-aged kids.
