Whitehills 5K - East Lansing, Michigan - Running

The Whitehills 5K is a Running race in East Lansing, Michigan consisting of a Kids Run/Fun Run and 5K Trail Run.

Welcome
The Third Annual Whitehills 5K Run/Walk Race and Trail Run will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017. The courses are measured and chip-timed. There is also a free half-mile Kids Fun Run. Race proceeds will go toward needs identified by Whitehills Elementary School.

Come and enjoy the beautiful tree lined streets through the Whitehills neighborhood (street race) or the shaded trail through Albert A. White Memorial Park (trail race) and enjoy refreshments after the race. All ages and abilities welcome!

Course Notes
Street 5K: This is a fast course with a couple of gentle hills, and is a great course for novice runners, younger participants, or senior racers. Strollers are welcome (will start in back of main group), but no dogs are allowed unless they are service animals.
Trail Run: Be aware that the Trail Run goes over uneven terrain and includes several hills; novice runners or people who might have difficulty on uneven terrain are encouraged to consider doing the street race.

Park at the school or on Pebblebrook Lane. Parking is limited, so please carpool if possible.

Kids Fun Run - each participant receives a special prize
5K Run/Walk - finisher medals, male and female overall, 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each age bracket
5K Trail Run - finisher medals, male and female overall
