Friends of the Vineyard Haven Public Library on Martha's Vineyard host the annual race to benefit the library, a 5k Run/Walk from the Library to the West Chop Lighthouse and back, with ocean views. Includes T shirt for preregistered runners. Medals for winners in all age groups, and a raffle. 5k starts at 10 a.m.; Race day registration starts at 8:30 a.m. $20 advance registration before 5 p.m. The Library is located at 200 Main St. in Vineyard Haven, walking distance from the Steamship Authority ferry terminal.
