About The Run the Chop

The Run the Chop is a Running race in Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts consisting of a 5 Miles.

Murdick's Run the Chop Challenge is on July 4th every year and has been in existence for 18 years. Over that time the 5-mile road race has raised over $100,000 for Youth programs on the island. Through the support of our volunteers, the community of Vineyard Haven, and of course, the runners, it all seems to work. Benefitting The Martha's Vineyard Boys and Girls Club to support Vineyard Kids.
