About The Massachusetts Grief Relief 5K
The Massachusetts Grief Relief 5K is a Running race in East Walpole, Massachusetts consisting of a Kids Run/Fun Run and 5K.
Beautiful 89-acre landscaped park created and endowed in 1925 by Charles Sumner Bird, Sr. and his wife Anna, in memory of their eldest son Francis William Bird who passed away early in life. Over 3 miles of easy walking paths wind through the park, traversing streams via old granite bridges and passing through rolling, grassy meadows with tree groves and ponds. Park also includes a "tot lot" with childrens play equipment!
