Annual Welles Remy Crowther Red Bandanna Run, a 5K dedicated to the memory of Welles, a '99 BC grad and varsity lacrosse player. On September 11, 2001, he died a hero, saving the lives of others and becoming known as The Man in the Red Bandanna.

The annual 5K brings together Welles' family, friends, BC alumni, students, faculty, and staff at BC as well as the local and even national community. We come together to celebrate and honor the life of this incredible individual.

The Crowther family established The Welles Remy Crowther Charitable Trust to honor Welles' memory through scholarships and support of organizations that assist young people in their pursuit of excellence. The work of the Trust is made possible through the generosity of others, such as participation in events such as this one.
