The Akida H. Jordan Cancer Awareness 5K is a Running race in White Plains, Maryland consisting of a 5K.

It's that time of year!!! The annual Perserverance 5K, in support of Prostate Cancer Research, takes place on a scenic course during the last weeks of Summer. It starts on the North end of the Indian Head Rail Trail and proceeds directly South. There are a few curves as the course follows the 1.55 mile stretch down. After upi loop around, you finish the last 1.55 miles running into a crowd, cheering and motivating you to cross the finish line. The event also includes a post race awards ceremony complete with music and refreshing snacks.



The Perserverance 5K will be one ofKeep Reading the most popular races to prepare for the fall running season. There is a 200-participant limit, so register early to ensure a spot!!!
