Lions' Roar Kate Truax 5K/1K Review

About The Lions' Roar Kate Truax 5K/1K

The Lions' Roar Kate Truax 5K/1K is a Running race in Bethesda, Maryland consisting of a 1K Walk and 5K.

Each year the Our Lady of Lourdes School Community comes out in full force for the Annual Lions' Roar Kate Truax 5K. On Friday evening, preceding race day, families pick up their packets, which include beautiful race shirts, bags, and other goodies.

Then they go to the school cafeteria to carb load on Ledo's spaghetti and pizza. Saturday race day begins at 9am with the 5K run and a 1K fun run. Trophies are awarded to the top age group winners, and the overall male and female runners win cash prizes. Over 600 people enjoy great food, music and games and a moon bounce.
