Root Out Child Abuse - New Orleans, Louisiana - Running

The Root Out Child Abuse is a Running race in New Orleans, Louisiana consisting of a 5K.

We want you to enjoy a walk or run around beautiful Audubon Park. Following we will conduct tours of the Audrey Hepburn Care Center as well as some entertainment, information, food, and fun for the kids.

What You Can Expect On The Day Of The Walk:

When you first arrive at the walk site, you will need to go to the Check-In/Registration table and either check in (if you have already registered) or register (fill out a day of walk registration form).
After checking in, turn in any donations you have received for your participation for the walk, or any donations you'd like to make yourself.
An opening ceremony to celebrate your participation in the Root Out Child Abuse Walk.
Fun Activities! The Root Out Child Abuse Walk will have various activities to participate in the day of the walk: children's area, entertainment, and guest speakers.
The walk itself! This will be very relaxed. Think of it as a stroll through the park (because that's what it is)!
A closing ceremony to thank you for your support to the Louisiana Royal Hearts Foundation and your participation in the walk. So stay until the end and enjoy the closing Speaker, resource tents, and various prices and activities.
