New Orleans will host the inaugural New Orleans Women's Half Marathon and 5K, starting and finishing in the family-friendly atmosphere of New Orleans City Park. The event will start in front of the world famous New Orleans Museum of Art and take athletes on a tour of Mid City and Lakefront areas of New Orleans before returning to City Park. This women's half marathon and 5K event will showcase a $1,000.00 prize purse for the top female finishers in the half marathon.
