The Celebrate Your Heroes 5K is a Running race in Monroe, Louisiana consisting of a 5K.

Louisiana Hospice & Palliative Care is hosting the Hospice Promise Fundraiser Celebrate Your Heroes 5k and 1 mile Run/Walk! All money raised at this event will benefit Hospice patients and families in our community with non-hospice related expenses they are unable to afford themselves - such as rent and utility bills, emergency repairs, personal care items and food assistance. The foundation also provides funding for patients' last wishes, burial assistance, and community projects like bereavement camps for children and educational outreach programs for end-of-life care.

We are excited to be doing this community event to raise awareness for those patients and families who are facing challenges at the end of life.

Dress up as your favorite hero to celebrate the heroes all around us! We are encouraging race participants to dress up in celebration of their heroes. Awards will be given to the teams with the best team costume, best team name and largest team. All individuals participants in costume will be placed in a drawing for a door prize.
