Scotty Hamilton was a stellar member of the Pikeville City Police Department who ultimately gave his life to protect the citizens of Pike County. He leaves behind a wife and young child. In his honor, a Memorial Run will take place on September 8th, 2018. All proceeds will benefit the Brynlee Hamilton Trust Fund. Scotty's badge number was 111, therefore we will have 2 choices; either an 11.1k timed run or a 1.11 fun walk. The start/finish line will be at Pikeville High School, following a 11.1k course to Scotty's final resting place - Pikeville City Cemetery and looping back to the High School.Keep Reading The 1.11 mile route will make loops around the softball field, as Scotty loved to play softball!!
