Garden Spot Run/Walk - Franklin, Kentucky - Running

The Garden Spot Run/Walk is a Running race in Franklin, Kentucky consisting of a 5K.

Held annually in beautiful downtown Franklin, Kentucky, this event attracts a sizable crowd for a day out filled with fun and awards!

The Garden Spot 5K Run/Walk, presented by the Medical Center at Franklin Rehabilitation Services, has become a favorite for runners and walkers from across the southeast. The primarily flat course carries participants through historic downtown Franklin and into beautiful partially shaded residential areas, finishing back at the old Simpson County Courthouse. Awards in fourteen age categories are presented from the bandstand as participants as well as onlookers enjoy the shaded area provided by 100 year old maple trees.

Young folks will enjoy the Chaney's Dairy Barn Moo Run on Friday night as kids ten years old & younger may run the half mile course down College Street and back to the square.

It all adds up to a great weekend in Franklin, Kentucky!
