The Remembrance Run - Honoring Iowa's Fallen is a Running race in West Des Moines, Iowa consisting of a 5K.

The Annual Iowa Remembrance Run (a 5K Walk/Run) will be held in Gold Star Mother's Weekend. The Iowa Remembrance Run honors Iowa's fallen service members since 9/11 who were casualties of war from Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation New Dawn. We also honor Iowa service members who have died during that time due to injuries received while serving, PTSD* or while serving on active duty. Proceeds from the Iowa Remembrance Run are used to help fund a private event for family members in Iowa who have lost a service member and is organized and hosted by Survivor Outreach Services - Iowa.
