The Off the Beaten Path 6K Trail Race is a Running race in Grinnell, Iowa consisting of a 3K and 6K Trail Run.
Off the Beaten Path trail race and fun run/walk will take place at Jacob
Krumm Nature Preserve, Jasper County Iowa; beginning at 9:00 a.m. (8:00-8:45 Registration at Ahrens Access).
Runners will experience the tall grass prairie, woodlands, and maybe even some wildlife! In addition, grass surfaces will
cushion the strides of each runner. Immediately following the events, snacks and refreshments will be served and prizes
will be awarded. Proceeds from the trail race will serve to benefit the natural resources and sustainability of Jasper County
through the help of our non-profit group, Jasper Conservation Connection.
The race is at Krumm park, west of Grinnell. For the 6k race, you start from the parking lot at the east end of the park. Right from the start you are running past ponds, through the woods, up and down hills. The path is six or more More...
