The Dubois County Special Olympics 5K is a Running race in New Albany, Indiana consisting of a 5K.

Special Olympics provides sports training and athletic competition in a variety of sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities in order to create continuing opportunities for them to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience the joy of achievement, be included in the community, build skills and make friends. Programs offered through Special Olympics are at no cost to the families. We rely solely on private donations and fundraising projects. All funds raised by our local organization stay here to support our local program to provide uniforms, equipment, transportation and assist with overall training expenses for athletes.
