The Nick's Race is a Running race in Newton, Illinois consisting of a 2.9 Mile Trail Run.

Nick's Race has raised over $100,000. Although the focus of the race is to create awareness of the importance of organ & tissue donation, much of the money from the race goes right back to the community that hosts the race each year. Groups that have benefited are all in memory of or are groups that Nick Volk, whom the race is in memory of, was involved when when he attended Newton Community High School.
