Very nice race. (1) Check distance, thought it might be a little longer than 5K. I did not see mile marker 1. Saw #2 but I think it was in the wrong spot. (2) Always give out medals at race...Momento's that keep you coming back. More...(3) next year do 5 year age categories...3 deep and to get older runners to participate do 5 year categories all the way up to 80-84, 85-89 and 90-94, 95-99.... (4) You will need more people at the water stop..2 sets of tables about 20 feet apart on opposite sides of the street at mile 2. (5) port-o-potty at mile 1 and mile 2. (6) Race clocks at mile mark 1 and 2 and at finish....(7) Mile 2 is a good place to have music....Rocky and marching band music to encourage the runners to pick up the pace. (8) in between mile markers...have cheering sections...school kids ...keep the memento going. (9) Photographers on the race course....candid shots for next year's ad campaign. Enjoyed the race see you next year
