Hands down the greatest race I've ever competed in. From start to finish there was non-stop support from the spectators. Great support from my fellow runners as well. I had cramped up around Queensboro and countless runners urged me to continue on. I really appreciated the extra motivation. The aide

"I ran the Philly Rock & Roll 1/2 in 2013. I registered in 2014 but plantar fascisiitis kept me from running last year but I still went down to cheer on my friends and party with them. This is def. one of my favorite 1/2 marathons. A quick weekend

Nothing super special about the race itself (although, it was wonderfully flat) but it was pretty cool as part of the Nebraska State Fair. You can basically run the race, take a shower (they offer free showers there), and then wander the state fair eating fried oreos and other fun
