About The Edgewater 5K

The Edgewater 5K is a Running race in Chicago, Illinois consisting of a Kids Run/Fun Run and 5K.

Join us for the annual Edgewater 5k Run/1mi Walk, the only race course that includes Sheridan Road and the lakefront path! The Edgewater 5k is open to everyone from casual runners and walkers to experienced runners. Each registrant can choose a local school to support as part of their race registration. The race raises money for all schools in the 48th Ward, both private and public. Your investment in today's students is an investment in the future, as many of the 48th Ward graduates stay in the community. Since the race began in 2014 we have raised $17,000 for 48th Ward schools.
