The Idaho Falls Marathon and Half Marathon takes you throughout the valley of the Grand Tetons. Just an hour from Yellowstone National Park this run offers an extraordinary experience. Starting at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and finishing on the banks of the majestic Snake River, this race offers the ease for beginners and a challenge for a PR for the seasoned runner.
I ran this race last year (2021) and was very disappointed. The organizers show minimal effort. They don't offer a bag at packet pickup, the bus was late, there was no clock at either the beginning or the finish (completely inexcusable). They didn't feel the need to mark More...
From the start of the race there was high winds and rains that kept going the entire time.
Even though the weather was bad, it was a great course. Rolling hills to start then the last half was flat which was nice.
