The Run & Walk for Whales is a Running race in Wailuku, Hawaii consisting of a 10 Miles and 10K and 5K and 1 Mile.
Run for a cause! Maui residents and visitors are invited to take part in this benefit race, one of Maui's largest fun runs and walking events. The race includes a 1K Keiki run, 4K walk, 5K run, 10K run and half marathon run. It's a fundraiser to support humpback whale research in Hawaii and other parts of the Pacific, marine education programs for local schoolchildren, as well as conservation programs including efforts to prevent vessel-whale collisions, end whaling worldwide and keep marine debris out of our oceans.
