Just over 340 runners and walkers crossed the finish line in both races combined at the fall 2014 running of the Boston Mini Marathon & 5K, a 13.1-mile race event for runners and walkers that takes place as part of the town's annual autumn festival over the Halloween weekend. The race also includes a haunted house for kids, live entertainment and a cook-off in the town's Watt Park.
The Boston Mini Marathon races include a half marathon for runners and a 5K for walkers as well as a half marathon relay and a one-mile fun run for those who don't feel quite up to the mini marathon's 13.1 miles.
