The AthHalf is a fundraiser for AthFest Educates, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting high-quality music and arts education programs for youth in Athens-Clarke County. The course highlights Athens's vibrant downtown, beautiful historic buildings, University of Georgia campus and the world-renowned music scene. The starting point of the half marathon is in downtown Athens. The race will wind through downtown Athens, beautiful historic neighborhoods, and the University of Georgia campus. The race features all the sights that America's #1 College Town has to offer in 13.1 miles.
