The AIRS 5K is a Running race in Athens, Georgia consisting of a 2K Kids Run/Fun Run and 5K.
The 5K is run on the paved paths of the Greenway at Sandy Creek Nature Center. The path winds along open fields, streams, and through wooded areas (great spring-time scenery.) There are gently rolling hills and flat runs throughout the course route that will challenge any runner of any skill level. The course is an out and back.
The 1K Run-Walk and Wheelchair Roll uses the same path as the 5K.
Tshirts guaranteed to pre-registered participants as well as yummy snacks post-race and prizes for male and female age group winners!
