Shark Fin 5K - Venice, Florida - Running

The Shark Fin 5K is a Running race in Venice, Florida consisting of a 5K.

NEW This Year-The Megalodon Challenge - Register and do BOTH the Shark's Tooth 10K on Saturday and the Shark Fin 5K on Sunday and you will receive the Mega Megalodon Medal for completing the Challenge. Can't run with us both days? You can choose during your registration for the Megalodon Challenge to do one or the other or both the Tooth and Fin Virtually and still receive the Mega Medal (plus both finisher's medals.)

The Shark Fin 5K is a family-friendly run/jog/walk that will take you on a flat, fast journey with a dogleg on the old taxiway of the Venice Airport Festival Grounds before a scenic loop along the Intercoastal Waterway on the Venetian Waterway Trail and back to the finish. The Shark Fin 5K will be chip timed with overall, category and age group awards given.

The Shark Fin 5K event offers a gender specific short sleeve tech shirt, a custom Run-Dri embroidered running hat or you can select Premium and receive both. Ongoing improvements on the Festival Grounds have been completed to a point where we are able to have spectator and family friendly courses using only the Festival Grounds and Venetian Waterway Trail and not going on the public roads.
